Hello, I am a guy that is lining up going to a major university in the fall of 2023 and wanted to try out for a cheer team. I have no experience in cheer or gymnastics and my main trait is strength but my friend who did gymnastics and cheer in college said that would be a good base to start...
I have been cheering for 2 seasons in high school and I am a senior. I have no real tumbling skills. The most impressive thing I can do is a one-handed cartwheel. Aside from that I can only do the extreme basics that practically every girl can do- forward and backward rolls, cartwheels...
The order of competition has been released. I don't think the University of Louisville is listed but I could be wrong.

What was your experience getting to cheer at a college football bowl game like the Kentucky Wildcats did last year at the Citrus Bowl against Penn State in Orlando, Florida and will again later this month at the Belk Bowl against Virginia Tech in Charlotte, North Carolina?
Off the top of my head, the ones that I can think of are:
Kentucky
Tennessee
Auburn
LSU
Washington State
UCF
Michigan State
Kansas
Pittsburg State
Any others that you can think of?

I'm beginning college next month and I'm thinking about trying for cheerleading after my friend encouraged I should do it with her. Every time I mention I wanna do it to my family, they bring me down and say I can't do it because I have no experience and I'm too shy. I even brought it up to my...
Well the 24-time UCA Division I-A cheerleading champions the University of Kentucky held their annual tryouts this weekend.
Is there anybody that you know of is trying out for UK? BTW, several UK cheerleading (including the Wildcat mascot) are graduating this year.
I notice that very few college teams compete at the NCA College Nationals as opposed to the UCA College Nationals. Sure there are top teams like Louisville, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and SFA, but the competition is rather light down in Daytona. Thoughts?
Life University is still looking for at least 3 college-bound athletes to join their cheer squad for the 2019-2020 season! If you have any seniors interested in cheering in college, please email [email protected] for more information!
