Hey guys! So I was working on standing tumbling the other day and I'm really struggling with back-handspring series. I have a one/two to full and three to double.... the second/third back handspring are usually powerful and light, but the first one seems very heavy and slow with no power (almost...
Hi! We're using level 3 rules for the first time in Sweden, and I'm confused by one thing for standing tumbling. Can someone please give me and example of this (or explain it): "Airborne skills must involve hand support with at least one hand when passing through the inverted position".
CP asked this and I am not sure:
If a group does standing BHS step out, claps overhead in a 2 count paise to set up for a back walkover, and then does back walkover back handspring, does the pause make it count as 2 separate passes or not? I tended to think it was all one pass but wasn't sure...
Do you think standing tumbling is more important than run tumbling in all star cheer? I have noticed during standing tumbling you usually have all girls participating, for example the majority of the time all girls on a level 4 have and throw their standing tuck, but in run tumbling it seems...
Apologies if this has already been asked...
Is a standing BHS, step out, round off BHS, back tuck legal in level 3?

I need some serious help, advice, & tips.

So I havn't got a mental block with the standing tumbling; i've got the block with setting! My arms just won't swing back when I go to throw something. I can practice setting for half an hour and then I'll go to throw either a BHS or a tuck and my arms just won't move. Because of this obviously...
Okay, so i'm usually very good with standing tumbling, but i've recently begun to develop a mental block. I'm a level 5 tumbler, but this block is so severe that i can't even make myself throw a standing bhs! I know I still have the ability to do it, and i really want to, but i get so scared and...
I had a level 3 team this weekend perform the following:
Toe touch back handspring punch 3/4 flip to seat.
I called this illegal. Got word from Les that this is actually legal.
Ok, so I didn't really know where this thread should be posted, but eh whatever haha
So I'm doing this individual competition that is a lot different than your standard individual routine format, where you make up your own cheer, dance and routine. It's almost like an All-American tryout you...
