I have my back-handspring, but I am working on perfecting it. I am about to get started on back tucks after I get my round off back handspring, and toe touch back handspring. Also any tips for those skills?

Work your drills. Jump up and land on your back (or back roll down a cheese) on top on a ports-pit with some crash mats/cheese on top, to work on the height of going up. Back rolls up the cheese to get you rolling tight and lots of ab exercises to focus on pulling your tuck in.

Personally, tucks were much easier for me, cos my BHS sucked and hurt my wrists. The difference is the you need to set up instead of back as with the BHS. Instead of landing your RO in a scooped position, you need to be landing more upright. Do your RO's and land on top of the mats mentioned above. Go for the height over distance
