All-Star Cheer Is A Sport, Essay

So, I am writing an essay on why cheer should be considered a sport, but I am having trouble finding sources that are fact, rather than opinion.

Anyone ever write an essay like this, and want to lead me in the right direction?

These things shouldn't be hard to find. Just talk about the facts. We compete, people win, people lose, we win jackets & rings, we have different levels, we go to worlds (and have to earn our way w/ a bid)... Find things about that. Plenty of articles have been written about cheerleading and the hard work put into it. Just make sure you stick to the facts! Don't write about what you think or how you feel.

Every argument about this should start with someone writing out their definition of "sport."

Also, you should also agree on exactly what "cheer" or "cheerleading" you are talking about.
