My daughter, Emily, was a devout cheerleader from the time she was 4 until her passing at age 10. During her battle with cancer, she never gave up her cheerleader spirit or her drive to make others smile. Besides encouraging other children in the hospital, she also pushed to have a cheerleader themed room created at the children's hospital she was at. (It was completed and dedicated to her one week before she passed) She also created a charity, Cheers From Emily, to give kids with cancer electronic and other gifts, like tablets, to make stays in the hospital less boring and give them the ability to keep in touch with friends and family. Since her passing in 2012, we keep her wish alive through her charity.

To raise funds and to help these deserving kids, we are doing a cheer off fundraising challenge. We are asking individual or teams to sign up to fundraise and to challenge other cheerleaders or teams. The campaign will run until May to coincide with Worlds. The top team and individual fundraisers will be crowned champion and receive some cheer related awards (we working to get more prizes)

We want to get the word out to any who may be interested, who might be looking for a nice team building activity that also gives back to some incredible kids.
