I am doing choreo for our Jr 1 pyramid and I am stumpted. They only have 14 girls, and I want a pyramid with lots of levels, visuals and something you dont see every day, but one of the groups isnt strong enough to do skills without a front spot.
The music has 5 8 counts, not including the cradle. Any ideas?

I don't have a link for rules at the moment, but is a kick up twist down allowed?
Let me explain it better;
You have three stunt groups. the two sides that stay in halves and one that (while linked arms with the two sides) pushes to full lib, then stunt turns to side. Leg thats up is given to one of the side girls, and the other side girl grabs one arm SUPER tight. Then the bases dip and throw her and the sides pull her up as well, she kicks up and over down into bases ready arms. I'm in class so once i'm at lunch i can post a video. I have another stunt idea also. I will post once im at lunch as well. We did those in middle school and they were a huge hit at comp. As well as i will check the rules and comp up with a stunt(:

That would be legal at level 4...so don't do that pyramid with your level 1 team.

Once you have it able to be recorded (even if it's slow) post it in the "is it legal?" section & several safety judges check it often & can verify the legality.

With a level 1 pyramid, here are the things you will certainly want to incorporate to be on the higher end of difficulty:
An Extension with 2 arm/arm braces
A single leg at prep level with 1 arm/arm brace

I would reccommend doing one of these items twice & 2+ body positions in the single leg, from there, get creative with how you get in/out of each position.

Extention: Maybe stairs? Like start in a half, then one base pushes to full, then other base also pushes. Or Load in at prep level, backwards, then whole stunt group walks around so the flyer is facing the judges. Either to full or half. Or a show and go. Like if you have a poping noise in your music, have them pop up on it the smoosh down to prep level and prepare for next stunt
Single Leg: Lib? or a hitch, so one legs in pep and the other is in full.

I Really hope You liked my ideas! :D

I coached a youth 1 with 14 kids a few years ago, and this was the end of our pyramid. The outside flyers brace their legs to the center elevator in the load and then they all pop up together. We also did some single based stretches braced to shoulder sits.
