All-Star How do gyms hire coaches?

I was curious about this as a former cheerleader who is interested in coaching. I've never seen job postings for cheer coaches. I know a lot of smaller gyms hire former athletes, and a lot of bigger gyms know coaches from other gyms and offer them jobs, but is that just always how it works?

it is different for every gym but I have seen a lot of big gyms advertise looking for experienced Coaches. They usually post on their social media. If you don't have experience coaching you may want to start at a small gym. Stop by, introduce yourself, give them a copy of your resume, and ask if they are accepting applications.
