I’m begrudgingly accepting that my work schedule won’t allow for me to coach or cheer going forward and have been thinking about trying to get certified to judge. Is there anyone here who could offer insight into what the process is like?

It depends on what kind of judge you wanna be and who you want to work for. ICU? Varsity? USASF? Schools? STUNT? You want to be a panel judge or safety?

When you are set on your decision, contact the federation or association of your choice. They will tell you what they require.
