wait so how many teams go on to finals? im confused

its trials --> prelims --> finals
how many go to prelims then finals?
and trials is only for us teams right?

for club teams it's only prelims and finals. international teams have trials, prelims and finals.
club teams: top 50% of each division except small senior and small limited. those two have top 60% of each group (a or b).
international teams: top three from each country advance to finals.
