Hey y'all is it possible to join a team late? I was on a team at Cheer Athletics Austin but unfortunately had to quit very early on because of an injured arm and I was very sad. My arm is healing up and I am working on getting my tumbling back and I really wish I could be back on my team :( Do you think there is any way I could if I somehow got my tumbling back? They haven't had any competitions yet. I really don't want to miss out on this experience and I really don't think I could do it my senior year (next year) because its an extremely busy year, so this is kind of my last chance. :/

No one knows except the coach at that gym. If they have a spot that u can fill then you may be in luck

That is true. We'll just have to see how my skills go and if they have a spot. But I do know they have space. My friend who is still on the team says they're still open and they also want to cut some girls.

Depends on you skills v. team needs at that level, too.

Ex: A gym might have openings at your level and age, yet be looking for someone with a specific skill set (i.e. a strong Senior Level 4 tumbler or Senior 3 base.)

I also tend to notice that at this point in the year, unless they've had injuries or people quit, most teams have more flyer talent or kids to pull from to fill flyer spots than they can shake a stick at.

Yeah thats true definitely just depends on what they say. Just wish I could know!! And I wouldn't be a flyer haha. I usually fly for my varsity team at school but probably not for all star... I wouldn't be experienced enough. So thats not a problem
