Varsity Brands faces lawsuit from its insurance company​

Basically, their insurance company (Arch Insurance) has asked a judge for help with a mistake in the insurance policy. This issue is connected to the lawsuits about sexual abuse against Varsity Brands that we've been covering.

Specifically, Arch claims important details (pages) related to cases of abuse were missing in Varsity's 2018-19 insurance policy. These missing details could lead to the insurance company having to cover a significant amount of the costs associated with sexual abuse claims against Varsity Brands.

The insurance company claims it wants to correct this mistake, but Varsity Brands refuses to do so.

So, the insurance company's lawyers who are paid to prevent this very mistake from happening don't want to honor their contract.

The sad part, consumers will pay for all of these lawsuits and have nothing but superficial rules to show for it. Kids, nor parents wallets, will have any further protections. Our legislators (ironically, the protectors of Epstein's client list and donor recipients from insurance companies) could stop a lot of abuse and trafficking by changing some laws. However, as abusers of the systems they created, it makes perfect sense to blame entities with no true authority and who instead can pass the price of their guilty verdicts on to the consumer.
