Could someone please tell me how or why the outside pyramid groups move from 2:16-2:18 is legal? I love it but would hate to get an infraction just just checking! any help would be great, thank you

It remains contact with the backspot at all times during the transition! Similar to if you were doing a "firework" and landing in a different group, backspot remains contact the entire time.
