I'm not sure if that was a good title lol but has anyone here overcame something that may have stopped someone else from progressing or doing the sport they love? aka cheer:P or anything else! lol
For me when I started to lose my hearing I thought it may be difficult to keep cheering but I just thought of other ways people can help me out a bit. I got someone else in my group to count if the coaches were counting or just start to count so I could then just count in my head and then if we were at comp I'd get one of the coaches to stand near the stunt to count since hearing in the practice area is a nightmare!
I've only had a few probs here and there with not being able to hear music well and at worlds when my hearing aid flew off and almost got stepped on lol but other than that it hasn't been too bad! Now to just find a way for it to stay on a bit better with stunting and I'd be happy :)
