Gabrielle Swainson, JV cheerleader from Ridge View High School in Columbia, SC has been missing since August 18. Today the local sheriff department announced that a male family acquaintance has been arrested in her disappearance. Although they did find her blood and DNA in his home; Gabbiee has not been found.

Please say a prayer or send a loving thought in her direction for her family, friends, teammates and the student body at her school. This case as tugged at the heartstrings of everyone in the community for the past 10 days.

Gabbiee is a sweet girl, an honor student and also trains with her high school cheerleading squad at Carolina Crossfire.

So sad....I hope that something will surface that will at least give the family some closure. When a young person is lost, it is so sad...not only for the loss itself but for the lost potential of that person's life. I'm praying for the family and Gabbiee, too. Hopefully she is in a wonderful, safe place where she can be free.
