I just wonder sometimes if anyone's heard of my gym...
my coach/gym owner judged at NCA and apparently a TwistnShout coach came up to her and asked where our Sr4 team was because they were looking out for us...we weren't even there!
Carolina Spirit Athletics...look for it as a big name gym in the future!!

I wouldn't consider our gym one of the "little guys who are up and coming". Our gym is going into it's 13th season... and has no plans of ever being a large gym. We have had some very successful years, winning NCA one year, and winning several "national titles" over the years. This season we've won 3 Grand National Champions and 1 High Point winner and 2 of our teams placed in the top 3 at NCA. We are located in the suburbs of Dallas/Fort Worth so there is a ton of competition for athletes from the likes of Cheer Athletics, Spirit of Texas, Champion Cheer, etc... not to mention the multitude of small gyms. There are 3 small gyms in our town alone. I am very happy with our small gym but would also not rule out moving to a larger gym if/when my 2 CPs obtain level 5 skills AND our gym doesn't have a level 5 team.

My gym, Stellar All Stars, are pretty up and coming. We're local right now, but I can see use competing nationally in a few years. We have a lot of talent, especially on our younger teams. And I can see some great level 5 athletes/teams in our future!

Weren't you guys at NJ MACC? I remember seeing Stellar there. If so, you guys did an awesome job :-D

I don't know why you wouldn't be! Your gym redefines "tight" we met you for the first time this year in the dean dome and your J3 took our coed J3 to school on being sharp. Well see you again in myrtle beach (probably separate divisions though since our coed was combined for that small comp into an all girl division). The first thing I said after we saw you was why was THAT team not at cheersport? Y'all would've walked out with jackets....just sayin.
We're not far from you, just outside Charlotte and our coaches and your coaches know each other. We're looking forward to seeing you again in myrtle beach. We're up and coming all on our own so I say we take over North Carolina together!

Aw thanks! I think it depends what day you get us on :) we have amazing talent in the gym but we've been gunned down by the cheer sniper on several occasions this year. However, our flight crew is amazing. We do have some great parents and were (meaning my husband) the sign crew. My hubs is the "sign guy" who build all of our light up signs for competitions. Our facebook page will have the videos one of our other dads puts together too...theyre insane awesome. Some of his best are linked up on cheer1fm.com under the "gym of the month" this month. Our flag dads even made thenvarsity fb page during king of the jungle. Which CEA are you with? I think weve seen Raleigh most often this year but we've seen kernersville, Greenville, Sanford and I think Winston during the year as well.

Those signs are incredible! Wonder if he could make one for my daughters room that has her name on it.... Hehehe.... my little one has been at cea kville for the past two seasons. I think that we are going to take a break from that drive this coming season though... What team is your cp on? my lil one has friends on blue angels.... Super sweet girls :)

He made light up signs for three girls for Christmas last year. Their moms gave him their favorite colors and he did an aviator logo sign that lit up they could mount on the wall. My daughter has a Stencil one in brown and blue and silver (her rooms all French themed) on her wall.
My daughter is a Blackhawk on our sm jr 4 and my son is on Stealth which is our coed jr 3. He'll be on jr 4 next year he just got those skills after Evals. Who are your friends on angels? Weve got several from SC whom we all adore. They're such great kids. Weve been with aviator since they opened the doors so they're all like family. With the exception of UCA we traveled to every competition including all the ones the angels went to on their own. It's been busy but fun. We love our aviator kids. My hubs built the sign with the angel wings for them this year
It's,like five feet across.
They have fun gym every now and then on Friday, if yours are around they should come! We had some visitors from a bother gym tonight at program tumbling. They were throwing double backs! Amazing. Sweet kids.
