All-Star Thank You!

As we head into Worlds, I thought it would be important to post a thread to say THANK YOU to all of you who cheer that make this incredible sport what it is. Amidst all the talk of who's going to win I can't help but think of all the hard work that went into this season by all of you. Each of you should be so proud of your accomplishments, because all of us (fans & parents) have absolutely been thrilled to watch your incredible performances week in and week out. As a cheer dad I know how much you athletes put into this sport. IMHO, often times much more than athletes in other sports... And the sad truth is, if this was a sport that ended with the word "ball"... you would get so much more recognition.

But I just wanted to say that, to all of us who know the sport and understand your sacrifices... you are sooooooooooooooooooooooo appreciated (emphasis on the word so... haha). It is truly such a joy and honor to watch each of you. In a world full of not so nice things going on all around us, it is a breath of fresh air to experience the joy each of your teams bring when you step out onto that floor. Through the injuries, the falls, the crowning of champions and the like, you have inspired so many. So here's to all of you cheerleaders... from the pee wees to the seniors... from the parents and fans (including the "psycho ones"... LOL)...

And for those of you who will be competing at Worlds to amaze us one more time... GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS!!!!
