Have you always wished there was a time that you could meet and chat with some of Allstar cheer’s industry leaders? What about meet some of the USASF's staff and let them know what you'd like to see for the future? Or maybe you'd like to just meet other parents and share stories? Then this is the event for you!
Meet the USASF - Parent Action Committee (PAC) at CHEERSPORT, Friday, February 15th from 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM at the GWCC to do just that. We have many special guests attending that will be there to listen to input, answer questions, and to generally have a great time. Are you curious about who the special guests will be? Over the next week we will reveal 1 or 2 each day but to start things off….
We have our very own industry rule guru Les Stella (Vice President of Rules, USASF) there to answer your burning questions regarding all things rules past, present, and future. In addition we have the coach that everyone loves, Happy Hooper (Owner, The ACE Cheer Company, USASF Board Member) to let us all know how he juggles all those locations and athletes all while being a USASF Board Member.
Refreshments will be served. Please reply if you plan to attend or inbox CharlotteASMom with any questions. Look forward to seeing you there!

Tbe location will be determined by the end of the week but it will be in the area of the arenas and ticketing. Not a far walk from all events going on that night. Hope to see you there!

We are also thrilled that Kyle Bright (Head Coach - The Stingray Allstars, Regional Advisory Board, USASF) will join us as well! Now is your time to pick Kyle's brain about the magic potion Rays uses to perfect their jumps. He also loves to talk about the industry and has great ideas about where it should be headed.

Look for more special guest announcements tomorrow. Hope to see you there!

See you there!

Over the last nine years that I've been following Allstar cheerleading, I've seen a lot of comments and posts from parents inquiring about the inner working of the industry.
What's the purpose of certain rule changes? Are we a sport and do we want to be? Why do certain gyms excel at jumps while others excel at stunts? Does a small gym have the same influence in the industry as a large one? Why or should we be concerned with image? What does the USASF and our gym want from me as a parent? etc. etc. etc.

There are many people over the years that have pushed for parents to have more of a voice within the Allstar cheer world and to get direct answers to these type questions. Tomorrow is the USASF-PAC's biggest step yet in that direction!

We have 10 industry leaders (7 of which are USASF affiliated) making themselves available to you the PARENTS for one-on-one conversation. They are prepared for positive suggestions, tough questions, or to just meet a lot of great people! Please take advantage of this amazing opportunity and come join us. Worst case you get a snack and drink on your way to the arenas!! I hope to see you there!

The "Meet and Greet" will be Friday, February 15, 2013 at the GWCC in Room B217 from 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM. This area is called Maple Point at the GWCC and is at the top of the escalators that lead to Arena B5.
