Neither a uniform or music make a routine and honestly the industry is going overboard with both, I'd rather an awesome routine to 8 counts and t-shirt and shorts.

Whichever one will reward their athletes who put in hard work, blood, sweat, tears with teams set up to win. That could be either depending on coaching philosophy.
Amazing uniforms, for as much as I love music, it's not forever emblazoned on everyones photo album on the Internet.

The last is easy. My kids want to win. Period. You can have a talented team that doesn't bond....you won't ever win. The lesser talented team that works as a team will shock people and win stuff they weren't supposed to.
