OT Youtube Not Working?

is anyone else having a problem with youtube not working? when i click on the links, its just the black screen. theres not even a play button to be clicked. does anyone know how to fix this? i tried googling it, but that didn't help.

I use to have that problem but usually it asked me to update some software

uuugh, just switched to internet explorer 9 and now youtube isnt working for me!
