Really want a video game theme for my new routine. It seems like such an obvious choice but I cannot find any examples of this being done in the past. Anyone have any suggestions of where I can find some?
Do you all have a preference for your "order" within your routine?
For example, we are used to doing:
Opening
Jumps
Partner Stunts (Sequence)
Cheer
Transition Element (baskets, etc.)
Pyramid
Dance
I do not want to end with a dance, but I am unsure if we should switch up the rest of the...
Okay so this may not be exactly music related but I'm not sure where else to post this plus the old routines that were on Varsity TV featured music anyway and had a section of the routine cut out but now where are they!!! There are some really good HS, AS, College routines, Dance, etc, that were...

I coach a high school team in Michigan and all 3 of our routines consist of yelling words the entire time. I cannot get my girls to really get into it! They have 3 really fabulous, unique routines and they look SO bored the entire time. We will not score well without it really being performed...
I thought it would be fun to share our favourite creative routines from the lower levels, from the level 1 tiny/prep to level 3 or 4.
Such a pretty level 1 routine - love all the cannons!
Level 4 so the upper end of the scale but this is probably my favourite routine of all time. Cheer...
Since showcases are starting and competitions are around the corner, thought I'd make a thread to post videos of debut routines! Excited to see what this year has in store :)
I have to cut my music from a 2:28 min routine with a 147bpm to a 1:45 min routine. I have to cut it by 8 counts and I don't know how many 8 counts are in at 1:45 min routine with a 147bpm. Help I've never cut it like this before and my dj will only do it like this.
Hi everyone :)
Need some help and perhaps we can keep this thread going for anyone else looking for videos of teams they remember but can't seem to find the video.
I'm looking for:
- all girl team (possibly level 4)
- i believe it was Tribe Cheer
- danced to "ohh ahh just a little bit ohh ahh...
So I've been thinking about this, and want to bounce it off of people to see what they think.
What if HS cheer competition routine formats be changed to a universal format?
30 seconds of a story cheer
60 seconds of a crowd-leading cheer
90 seconds of music
Total routine length: 180 seconds...

I saw this on facebook and thought I should share. I really liked and enjoyed watching all these throw backs.
Does your gym have one? When my gym back home got a new owner, she implemented a policy that no routine videos could be shared on any social media until the season was over. I thought this seemed a little ridiculous/paranoid, as this is something I've never seen before and the only real reason...
I notice that in college routines, a lot of squads would include hard rock music such as Bon Jovi, Guns & Roses, Poison, Skillet, Nickelback, Creed and Motley Crue alongside music from Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Nelly, Rihanna and Lady Gaga, among others. Thoughts?
hi...I choreograph a lot of the routines we do. I heard a really old song by Queen called Bohemian Rhapsody and I really liked it. I know its not even close to a "usual" song for a routine but I was thinking about a really different type of routine that's slow paced with a lot of skill...
