I was sorry Riley didn't make it, but hope she has a fun NCAA career at UF.

Larisa Iordache will only be able to compete on balance beam, she says her ankles are in too much pain.

anyone have any predictions on what jade or mykayla will qualify for now that we've seen some podium training. Im torn on what, if any event finals mykayla will make. Im torn because while she is great on floor and vault i can see others making it in above her.

I don't think MyKayla quals on any apparatus. The 2 per country rule will hurt her. Jade should qual on floor and vault. Her execution is better than MK's.

So excited for Alec Yoder, and can’t wait to watch PH finals.

Bringing two vault/floor specialists, especially when Simone is a lock to make both of those finals, was such a waste of a spot IMO

Agree. They should’ve brought rylie mccuster
I’m happy mykaylas at the Olympics but I would have rather had her on the team, rylie the specialist

I feel spent from following Olympic qualifications.

There was so much heartbreak. I was in tears during the moment for Chusovitina. Andrade and Melnikova having the meets of their lives.

My emotions are all over the place.

I'm very happy for Jade and I'm sad about Mykayla tbh, I was hoping she would qualify for one and Jade would qualify for the other. I'm sad for no Chusovitina in finals either :( Love her.

Tom Forster is incompetent and it's infuriating.

I guess if you’re Simone Biles and you’re going to have a bad day, qualifiers is the place? Because then even your worst is still pretty good?

I mean, she lost probably 1.5 points total between vault, floor, and beam with the OOBs and dismounts alone. Everyone needs to pull their own weight tomorrow. You can't put it entirely on Simone's shoulders. They need 12 hits.

No I didn’t mean to imply the fault was on Biles alone. I was more expressing how unbelievable it is that even with the uncharacteristic mistakes she made, it almost didn’t even matter qualifying-wise. I will never not be impressed by her.

And I really am hopeful that, if Team USA was going to make mistakes, then qualifiers was the place to do it (I noticed that nobody was really getting the scores they wanted). I hope everyone got their bad takes out. “Bad rehearsal, good performance,” and all that.

I wasn't really directing that at you, just more in general. And now they really can't put it on Simone's shoulders.
