Yup. In fact, the very reason why gymnast can qualify via AA at Worlds was because of what happened to Iordache last quad.

She medalled in the AA finals in 2015, but it didn’t earn her a berth to the Olympics. It was because back then it wasn’t usual for an AA medalist to come from a country that didn’t already qualify a full team to the Olympics.

Romania has some hope of qualifying a full team though, especially since teams can qualify via continental cups (Euros for Romania).

Oooops... sorry, they can’t. That’s for rhythmic gymnastics, I accidentally skipped over to the wrong section of the booklet.

Explains why the screenshot I took above didn’t distinguish between numbers for men and numbers for women. It’s 12 for men and 20 for women.

Full teams can only qualify via Worlds 2018 & 2019, my bad.
 
Ragan has retired from elite and will be going to Oklahoma in the fall.

Could've sworn she was 12 like 3 weeks ago... They are growing up too fast.

I'm really excited to see her in NCAA. I feel like she has the spunk that fits really well into their style.

And I hope she's resting her ankle. #NoMoreMummifiedAnkles2020
 
Shocked Morgi Hurd didn't qualify for AA finals or one single event final at Pan-Ams. (McCusker and Eaker both qualified AA if you weren't watching) Morgan was 4th place AA, so really the two per country rule knocked her out... she was still solid as heck.

Add in Simone, and I'm not sure about the Olympic team and this new 4 team member format. Obviously is favors all-arounders so she should still be a solid choice . *Anything* can happen in a year (anything hopefully not meaning major injuries) but I wonder if Morgan will end up in Tokyo.

I am conflicted with Riley because I love watching her and her Nastia-esque technique, but I just really really really dislike her coach, and if she ends up not making the Olympic team due to an injury, it'll be at the hands of poor coaching.

Laurie isn't training with Maggie anymore, is she? Honestly, I forget she's training until she posts a random beam video on IG every now and then. And I haven't really paid enough attention to know where she is.

I think Laurie is at Gym Max, which is where Laney trains as well. I could be totally off, but I feel like that is what I pieced together awhile back.

I actually thought gym max for a hot second but couldn’t figure out why I thought that...so I’ll go with it. Haha
