I've just signed up, I was just wondering how I've got a picture from my hard drive of my cat as my avatar when I didn't select it?! It's pretty cool but a bit random to see it just pop up, lol

When you sign on to Fierceboard, @kingston has set up a program to read all the files on your computer, just in case you have anything cool he can use.

It can pull from Gravatar accounts.

Use a jpg and make sure you're editing your avatar.
