All-Star Basketball shorts as practice wear?

May I get opinions on this, having a hard time with owner getting new practice wear.

I think that basketball shorts as practice gear is not a very good idea. They restrict movement and are pretty hot but that is jsut my opinion! I think that they could be comfy but I would see how the athletes feel

I see the Lulu relaxed-fit training short quite a bit when I'm out and about, so I can see athletes liking it. With that said, the Lulu model below is 5'8", so if the basketball short doesn't have varying inseams, I can see how a 5' athlete might feel as if they're wearing gouchos instead.

I think that shorts could be very cute but I do get what you’re saying. As a 5’3 athlete with shorter legs a lot of sweat sets, as well as shorts are very long on me and I do think that these might go past your knees. It’s very hot in our gym so those would annoy me but I don’t know about your athlete’s preferences maybe ask an athlete your close to what they would think!

As a backspot, I'd hate these. Anything coming down to transition or something at prep where I can be higher on the leg, I'd be worried about getting twisted up in the fabric or not getting a good grip on my flyer. They also look super thick and hot and I would die in my gym

I’ve worn them before as a flyer. Good idea if the owner isn’t giving you practicewear.
