I asked this in another thread, but never got a clear answer, on day 2 a lot of teams changed their extra baskets, as in opening baskets, or what not, to toe touches, pikes, x outs; instead of the kick doubles, were they scoring low or something? I don't understand why so many teams changed it?

Because the scoresheet was based on a variety of tosses not just level 5 tosses, if that makes sense!

Yes! I know a lot of teams did this as a "minor" change for day 2 to potentially boost up their scores a little with variety in that particular category without making a drastic change like a different stunt sequence etc. I really enjoyed the variety, especially the super high toe touch & pike baskets!

we changed our opening basket on day one to a toe toss on day two...because they "suggested" it on the scoresheet. they wanted variety.

Yep, several teams got mentions on their scoresheets that they needed more variety.
