Hi! I am the coach of a new college program. We are finishing our first season and we'll be attending camp for the first time this summer. We are in the building years and I am concerned that an overly competitive style camp will overwhelm my team. I am looking for a supportive learning experience. In your experience, would NCA or UCA be a better fit for my goals?

I have never been to a UCA College Camp, but I think NCA does a great job working with teams of different levels. They offer many divisions like spirit rally, intermediate, etc. that they can help with at camp. Also, a good place to start with NCA would either be a home camp or a commuter camp. They are a little cheaper and allow for teams to be done around 5 each day. Some teams even get a hotel themselves so camp is more like an overnight camp.

Both UCA and NCA camps accommodates all skill levels and have similarities. UCA is more traditional style cheer while NCA has more of an all star style. It all depends on what you and your team is looking for. Both camps have amazing instructors!
