All-Star Cheer Clinic In Cuba

Cuba now has a dance/cheer team. The 4th Pan American Cheerleading and Dance Championships were actually held in Havana, Cuba this past November.

Seeing as Cheerleading is slowly making its way around the world, I've decided to set up a trip to Cuba for all star cheerleaders to participate it.

It would be a week long and would include 2 days to meet and work with the team in Cuba. Basically sharing your knowledge and they will share theirs. We want to mix and mingle with the teams and even show them all the possibilities of cheerleading in Cuba as they slowly grow and learn about the sport.

The trip would also include excursions to several spots on the island including hiking trails and guides to different natural spots on the islands such as caves, hot springs, and even a possible tour of the National Institute of Sports and Recreation in Havana where all sporting events are held including gymnastics and dance.

Also if interested in participating as a coach during the clinic days (work with the coach from Cuba and myself, to help teach all the participants basic cheer stunting and tumbling for example to even more difficult) also email me.

I really hope to make this possible. The possible date for this trip would be in July (end of July for one week... we are currently aiming for July 19th - July 26th).

Looking for Coach certified Level 1-5 interested in traveling to Havana, Cuba. Cuba in Motion and Caribe Express Inc are hosting a Cheer Clinic in Havna, Cuba were US athletes and Cuban Athletes will participate. It will consist of 2 clinic days and other tours around the island. It will be a way to train alongside the Cuban athletes as they are slowing making their way in the Cheer World. The trip would be paid. Personal expenses will not be covered (as of now). We are still in the process of planning the full itinerary but are looking for interested Coaches that would like to participate. The trip is planned for July the week of July 19 - 28th... Currently working on trip from Miami to Havana and/or JFK (NY) to Havana. Depending on the final departure city or cities will determine the date.
