What should I pack for our first cheer comp of the season , it's an away comp, not too far, we are only staying one night and taking a team bus there and back (6 hours each)
I know that I want to bring food and snacks for o keep in my hotel room and we have a limited amout of luggage, a carry on size suitcase and a backpack for on the bus

Been there done that with that amount of space. Don't bring hair washing stuff as its better to keep your hair dirty as its easier to style. Also try and wear your warmups for travel to save space and it looks good if everyone is wearing them.

Overnight wise all you really need is PJ's and wash stuff plus any meds you may need

If you have zip lock bags group things together like things for hair in one bag and makeup (if you dont have a small makeup bag) in another so you can find things easily.

If it is a 2 day comp bring a body spray for your uniform and deodrant for yourself

Apart from the obvious your uniform, bow, socks and shoes bring extra socks

Hairspray, booby pins, hair ties, brush and comb and curling wand or flat iron depending on style
Fully Makeup kit

Any braces you may need and bring athletic tape and pre wrap trust me it makes it easier if you prewrap an injury then tape it when you have to remove the tape!!

Pain killers

And just have fun it is a great time may I ask where are you from?

Thanks for those tips, I'll defenatly use them :)

My #1 must have: extra socks! Everyone knows cheer shoes get smelly and sweaty. If I take mine of to go somewhere, I always change my socks before I put them back on. And my favorite: dry shampoo. No need to wash your hair for a couple of days when you have dry shampoo =)

I always carry a small First Aid Kit.
