You can start by researching colleges you're interested in and visiting their cheerleading webpages and social media accounts, like Instagram. Most schools list contact information for their cheer coaches or spirit program coordinators there.

I also recommend attending various college cheer clinics. They’re a great way to get a feel for each program, learn about requirements, and get important tryout information.

Once you find the right contacts, send a polite email introducing yourself. Include a brief bio, your cheer experience, skills, and a highlight video if you have one.
