I've seen the threads about wands vs curlformers but I haven't seen anything about what type of wand to get.... I have curlformers and love them but we don't always have the time or patience the night before so we resort to a regular curling iron in the morning.... I'm hoping the wand is easier than the old fashioned iron so, can anyone please give recommendations for the best wand for cheer curls? Size? Brand? Temperature? Also best product to hold the curls for fine wavy hair? Thanks in advance!

I use a hot tools 1 1/4 curling iron as if it were a wand with freeze it. I have wavy hair that doesn't curl or hold very easily. Hot tools also makes wand style irons, but its cheaper and easier for me to use the normal iron for half up half down and then use it like a wand for teased loose curls all up. I also personally don't recommend tapered wands. I tried one last season and it didn't look as good to me.

I use a cheap bed head 1" lollipop one. With the amount of hairspray used it works the same way as the expensive ones and doesn't fry my hair. (Which is stick straight and VERY fine)
