Hey guys! So as you all know, the tornadoes last week in the South/ lower midwest did some horrible damage, and left people without homes, cars, etc. Me and my cousin want to spend our spring break (April) doing some disaster relief down there, or anywhere that still needs help (LA obviously is still hurting from Katrina, things like that). A friend of mine did a Habitat for Humanity, and that's what we're looking for- building, doing actual physical work. However, I don't have any experience with any of the programs out there, and was wondering if any of you have. Whether you've done it yourself, know someone who has- any sort of help or reference would be great. There's a lot of programs out there...but some of them can be shady, and some insight would be great. Feel free to PM me or answer in this thread if you have any info :)
