Epic Brands introduces the Future 5, an event where select Junior teams have been invited to compete and show off their routines at Battle to the Boardwalk Nationals in Atlantic City, NJ on February 1-2. Junior teams from the following gyms will be featured: All Star Legacy Cheer Tyme East Celebrity Elite FAME Maryland Twisters

I doubt it's because of their lack of talent. More like locational issues. All of the teams selected are east coast teams.

And already going to compete, I'm sure. I think it's cool, though. J5 teams being spotlighted at a bid comp is awesome and not something I've seen before!
