I think it's pretty impressive that F5 went from 4th last year to 1st this year. I wonder what the biggest place jump a team has ever made from year to year or even day 1 to day 2?!

I don't look at place jumps from year to year. There are so many variables, the least of which being it isn't the same team. F5 has never placed below 4th, so for me that isn't a huge jump. Rockstar moving up as far as they did from Day 1 is impressive.

Rockstar Beatles were in 17th place after day 1, and moved up to 3rd day 2.

I dont remember what Platinum Athletics got last year. I think we got like 37 or something, this past season we got 18th.

I love this thread! No one probably even knows a gym called Capital Cheer (NOT Capitol City-a lot of people mix them up), but it is where I started my first few serious years of all star cheer. My younger sister is now following in my footsteps and started out this year at Capital and the gym unfortunately had only one team (Junior 2) , but they are a true team/family<3 Anyways, they had a rough start to the season not placing very well or winning..then towards the end of their season they won a local competition and their nationals where they recieved a Paid Bid to US Finals :)

Personally, I love seeing teams progress throughout the year! I agree with @NJ Coach because teams change drastically year to year...I think it is even more of an accomplishment to place higher and perform more difficult routines during the year and even moreso between day 1/day2!

Shooting Stars in 2006 placed 4th, and in 2007 started there run of 3 straight years of Gold.
