All-Star Going And Coming Back

now lets say a cheerleader cheered at Gym A. she moved to Gym B for friends, parental, and financial reasons. two years later, Gym B has fallen greatly, as in no longer gonna make it to worlds and maybe not even a level five team. could the cheerleader go back to Gym A? would you be mad as coaches or cheerleaders of either gym? what is your opinion?

I've always wondered how this would work. But I think it all depends on how she left gym B. Wether or not she left on good or bad terms.

no, girls have done that before. my coach was happy the girl came back.

haha ok so said cheerleader had a conversation with her coach at Gym A before she left explaining why she was leaving and she left on good terms to clarify

yeah then its fine? i dont see why it wouldnt be? ours coaches were really happy to see the girls who left on GOOD terms back in the gym. its fine.

The gym is a business. They are going to welcome the athlete back. More athletes provide both more income and a greater opportunity to form strong teams at different levels and make sure each athlete is on the appropriate level.

In life I've observed that a good attitude, great behavior, and genuine interest can overcome any previously developed negative feelings. So ... it will be your job as an athlete and a person to be a good team member, and for that you'll be welcomed back warmly. Yes, there may be one or two in the gym who won't be fans of yours ... but you don't have to leave a gym for that to happen!

I am personally doing what you have posted about, but it wasnt about worlds or anything. I just couldnt afford it before, so I tried to go the other gym (that was actually closer) and I couldnt even cheer b/c it was a small gym, and I didn't have a bhs. Now, I have gotten multiple sponsorships and can afford to go. I honestly don't see anything wrong with it! It's not like I bad mouthed my old gym or anything, I was dying to go back! IMO I think its fine.

are you worried that people will be mad at you, I don't think your old coach would mind at all, I think its that you feel that the gym b will be upset, do what makes you happy!
