OK, So I have watched a lot of 2011 videos and most of them there is a girl or boy in the back that has amazing jumps. Maybe they are in the back because they have a specialty pass? NOPE - I checked.. ok maybe 1 or 2 vids but like.. why is there a person in the side v of a formation with a hyper extended toe touch and the girl in the front has a good one too but arent the good jumpers supposed to be in the front? This can also work the other way.. there is a video of a girl that her jumps dont even get off the ground.. shes in the back but she is on the end in the back and its clear as day.. as a choreographer myself I would put this person maybe like two in - not in the middle and not on the end.. I would hide her a litttttle better ? What do people think about this? Am I on my own here ?

could be a couple things...
a. the girl with the great jump doesn't always stick her tuck as well as the girl a couple rows up, or b. IMO its better to have a clean transition sometimes than to get the great jump to the front row....

I dunno, just my 2 cents

It could also do with the transition to the jumps. I have pretty good jumps and Im in the second to last row in the jump formation because I couldnt make it to the front from my stunt. I kind of dont mind it tho because it gives me a chance to rest and I dont have to worry about having really hyper extended jumps because Im behind a guy whos 6'2.

Sometimes you have to sacrifice talent for choreography so I'm guessing it's the transitions to and from.

It's like that this season for Spirit of Texas international. If you look at them jumps. On the far right in the back( that girls jumps are better than the guys and girls in the center ) and it tuck is just fine
