With CHEERSPORT and NCA upon us, I didn't think we had a place where we could just load our favorite inspirational videos (I didn't find one anyway). Coaches and team moms etc. can use this as a reference and pull out some videos to post on team facebook pages, tweet, email, put on webpages etc. as they gear up for some amazing competition.

So, load up your favorite motivational videos here! I'll start with some of my favorites...add yours and spread them around!

For the teams that have had some rough competitions....Failure....doesn't make you a failure.

or this one (better for senior teams, not so much the little ones):

For the teams that are spending a little too much time whining about that 4th full out of the night.... (or maybe skipped that "optional" tumbling class)

For the teams about to take on the toughest competition they'll see all year....or are still gunning for that full paid:
The Original version:

The Cheerleading version (tumbling focus)

Because EVERY coach wants to make THIS speech before they take the mat!

Do you need your team to give you more effort? Try this one:

How about a double whammy....not only the importance of finishing what you start...but also your parents....How about your parents? Need a video to remind them why they do what they do, pay what they pay, to show them for the bad rap they get, just how important they are to their kids....(bring out the tissues for this one...I never make it past 1:30)

How about this one for perseverance.....I watched this live but these kids probably never watched the old footage... and if they're going to CHEERSPORT....this happened in Atlanta.

Kerri Strug, 1996 Atlanta Olympics
A great moment in Olympic history: Kerri Strug's gold medal vault in 1996. [VIDEO]

Then after you've showed them all these random people....make a video of YOUR own kids to be inspiring. We did that (and I've posted these before) but we had one CHEERSPORT inspirational video for the kids:

I know it's our program, but this remains the single most inspirational Nationals video ever produced:

Or this one to make your parents cry (and not because of the admission or the stuff they had to buy at the CHEERSPORT mall :) especially to make your DAD's cry (2:32) and remind them all that the running, screaming, jumping-on-you hug after killing a routine at CHEERSPORT Nationals is the reason we keep driving them around and paying all the bills....

What are your favorite motivational/inspirational videos?

Ok this may not be the best motivational video, but I definitely think everyone should watch it if you haven't before, it's pretty cute. I watched it, along with like five other motivational videos (the topic was motivation) in one of my classes the other day and this one seemed to be everyone's favorite so I figured I would post it.

Unless your dream is stupid. Then you better get a better dream.

Favorite. Line.

This thread definitely speaks to my heart because we're a big motivational video family. (Along with key song's we listen to depending on what we're needing at the moment)

We watch the Keri Strug video that you already posted and we watch the story of Mary Lou Retton as well. Listen closely at 3:29.....he says her name a couple of time to really get her attention and then he says......."Never better." Gives me goosebumps!!!

Michael Jordan commercial's are some of our favorites. #1 and #4 are out favorites.

I don't really know if it's a motivational one so to speak, but this is also a great montage type video

i think its pretty inspiring that in 1970s this guy named lasse viren fell in olympic games and still managed to win and broke the world record. so if your team is having a hard time you could maybe show this to them and show that everything is possible as long as you want it
