I am new to "the fierce board" but I have been on here for awhile to get VO and music help. For the most part its pretty helpful but usually caters to the need of another gym since they are the ones who posted the thread. ANYWHO I am a coach at recent name changed gym. I've been doing the music for awhile but don't consider myself great at it. I really need help with VO and need some music suggestions.

GYM NAME: Academy Cheer Elite (ACE)
TEAMS & LEVEL: Legacy (sr. coed 3); Royalty (youth 2); Babes (all girl 4.2); Fury (sr. coed 4); Force (jr 3)
COLORS: turquoise, silver, white, & navy
LOCATION & AREA CODE: Lufkin, TX 936

Thanks for all the help!

Hey! I'm new here too but I like to play around with Spanish music. If you need to add energy try pitbull or don Omar. It really makes you wanna dance. My husband is Spanish and helps get new songs. I normally use them for dances and tumbling. For stunting I go for more of a rock sound bc it's easy to stunt to or take a slower song add some great backbeats and speed it up some. Hope this helped!

I like the idea of incorporating spanish influenced music (Especially Pitbull, his music will get the team going), also it is not something every other gym out there will be using. This might sound a little weird but I also have been trying to get coaches to start using Mashups, they are high energy, unique, and include built in transitions when there is a song change. I used to DJ in college and created my own mashups, but also got a lot from websites like EARMILK.COM - All Milk. No Duds. (click on the tab called mashup mondays). Not all mashups will fit as a lot of what is out there will contain language you don't want, but if you find something really unique it could be a great edge for your team.
