All-Star New Age Rule Is Killing Us!!

The new senior age rule is killing us! We have lost 4 9year olds that were on our senior team.. all had tucks. Now they have left to drive 45mins to a bigger gym so their kids canbe on a junior 3 instead of our senior 3!

It hurt us too, however we got by by moving our Sr. aged girl up a level and dropping to Jr. Hopping it works and we don't have to turn kids away later. Sorry you lost so many already:(

As a small gym, we luckily have our youngest Senior team girls being 12 this year. But in past years this would have hurt us. Feeling for the gyms who are having to go through this.

I feel your pain! Our point flyer with a tuck is stuck on level 2 this year... And we only have one senior aged girl that just moved up from juniors... Not a great way to start the season. :(

I always made it a personal rule that our bottom age was 10 too, but it still takes away any wiggle room we may have had. Small gyms like ours usually have a jr team competing as srs bc of only a few true sr aged girls. It's a shame because this rule is going to hurt so many small gyms whose youth-jr aged athletes are our bread and butter.
