I'm about 60 pages in and still struggling to get into it. Everyone says its amazing though so that's why I'm still reading. Is it even worth it?
I was struggling in the beginning, I just couldn't get into it. But once Amy got talking in the present it got much more interesting.

That was a weird one. Almost like two separate books in one. And way overrated imho.
It was weird. At first I was like what's all the hype about but the end got much better.

ETA: Has anyone read If I Stay? I saw a pre-screening if the movie on Monday and it was really good (and terribly sad. I never cry and I was tearing up throughout). I feel like now I have to read the books!

I liked Gone Girl, but with the movie coming out soon it's going to creep into that overhyped/overrated territory real quick. Fault in Our Stars, anyone? (Don't get me wrong, I thought it was good book, but it was a litttttle overrated, IMO)
Yeah, I think that too. I read Gone Girl and Fault in Our Stars before they got super big. I liked both books, especially Gone Girl, but I don't get all the hype for either. Good stories, but they're not THAT great.

It is on my kindle so I plan to get to it eventually. Cp read that and the sequel, loved them both.

Personally, I hated it. I found it predictable and the ending was ridiculous to me. I won't say more though.

This. It's in my top ten worst books I've ever read. I just do not get the hype - horrible book. I read one of her other books too - it was even worse.

I LOVED them. I read the first one in a day and a half, and the second one in like 7 or so hours (not sure what time I got the book that evening but I finished it at 1 that morning)

Lol I started the first one this morning and I'm already done with it. Now I need the second!!

The second one has been riding around in my trunk for about a month.

I read If I stay over 4 yrs ago so I don't remember much (which is good since I want to see the movie)

I've heard mixed things from colleagues about Where She Went- mainly that it's not as good as the first.
