High School Non-mount Question

The HS that I coach at is in a league that was ground-bound briefly a number of years ago. A cheerleader got hurt at a football game and the league ground bound all the schools. It was overturned in court, basically on a technicality that the league knee-jerked a reaction without input from the public.

There are many reasons for not wanting cheer to be considered a sport, but at least with state oversight, something like that can't happen.

Non Building, there are ground bound states and schools. Ohio is one of them.

Non-Tumbling could encompass quite a few scenarios. I compete NHSCC non-tumbling. We have 11/12 handsprings, some janky, a few running tucks, but it's still in the building stages. Each year, we improve, and they have to tumble locally and for our district and state competitions, however, this can still allow the kids to feel successful. As a staff and me as head coach, know non-tumble isn't forever, but it is a good stepping stone for the team.
