All-Star North Carolina Tornados

North Carolina is currently getting hit with tornados. No word as to how this will affect them yet as they are still going on. The last i heard, they were in raleigh and cary. Gyms around this area include: Cheer Extreme, Elite Cheer and Dance, Wake Forest All-Stars, and Carolina Legacy. Please keep them in your prayers!

Just an update on the storms:

Tornadoes missed Cary but have hit downtown Raleigh hard. The photos they are showing now have shown cars thrown through buildings, but the number of casualties reported has been low so far. Lets hope it stays this way as the storm moves towards the Sanford area.

Yeah, I woke up a little while ago and it sounded FIERCE outside. Checked the radar and in aboute 20 minutes we are going to probably have to go camp out sturdy somewhere in the house and wait for these storms to pass Greenville. I hope everyone up in the Raleigh area is safe!!

There were 11 tornadoes reported in Wake County (where Raleigh, Cary, Apex, etc. are located). They hit southeast Raleigh pretty hard, especially around South Saunders & Yonkers. But there was debris was as far as Capital Blvd & around Strickland & Six Forks (mainly all in northern Wake). Sanford was also hard hit where a Lowe's store was destroyed, and Sanford itself was hit very hard.

Most of my friends in Raleigh and the surrounding areas didn't even know a tornado was on the ground, much less headed directly for the southern side of the city.

I live in Cabarrus County and it has been terribly windy (still is as I'm typing this) and trees have fallen, hail has damaged cars, power is out, and flood warnings. It was crazy this morning when I woke up and my house was being pelted with rain. It is now sunny though and the storm has passed hopefully, but it's been a rough 2 weeks for us. April showers bring May flowers.

Yeah a lot has happened recently near Georgia, especially near Stingrays and GA Allstars.
Lots of hail but no tornadoes!

Lots of storms in Missouri yesterday and St. Louis was hit pretty hard with tornadoes. Hope everyone at Platinum and Legendz are doing ok!

None of the gyms listed above were destroyed and there were no losses from the CEA family; however, the town of Sanford, which is where one of the CEA gyms is located, was almost completely destroyed. The schools have been closed all week and there is extensive damage to most buildings. We are thankful that all of the girls and their families are safe, but the town is going to have to work hard to rebuild itself. I know people are taking donations of school supplies and probably canned foods if anyone wants to help them out!!!!
