*Nobody eats my casserole. Nobody. ;)

Didn't look that hard in the video, but if you read the text, it does say it's 3 hours at a time in the gym. Seems pretty hard to me.

And I'm hard pressed to ever say anyone's workout isn't "as hard" as allstars...after all, how do we feel when people who've NEVER done allstar (never even been to a practice) start telling us whether or not OUR practice is "hard enough"? All I ever see on here is everyone complaining that no one thinks allstar is hard and they just don't get it - but then we're going to sit here and say the exact same thing about someone else?

It doesn't look too difficult because we as cheerleaders are used to a completely different type of workout. For the most part, NFL cheerleaders are actually dancers who cheer on their team, rather that allstar cheerleaders who have the dance aspects but we also do stunts and tumbling, which require different conditioning and training. Their training is based around the dancing - agility, technique, and endurance. So just because they aren't doing strength training and muscle training like we do, they are training for what they need.

i agree, i was just wondering i didnt read the thing just watched a few seconds of the video, i mean yeah they practice hard they have rocking bodies but i mean the only reason i compared was because allstar is in cheerleading so to compare the too based on cheerleading. the run probably more while we stunt and tumble and they do zumba

Not trying to start anything but I do not really consider them cheerleaders.

That's ok. They probably don't consider you a cheerleader.

And I don't mean that quite as snarky as it sounds, but really. I'm sure they would argue that at least they ARE cheering...for a team... And like I just said - I find it interesting, and somewhat amusing, that the same people that get so offended when someone says allstar isn't hard, or isn't cheerleading, or isn't a sport, or whatever people say that everyone gets so upset over...are the same people that are QUICK to say something else isn't cheerleading. Or isn't a sport. Or isn't hard. Or whatever.

And by no means do I mean this to you personally (Shallow Poms), since I don't know that you are someone who gets offended by all that, I mean more of a collective, general "you" when I say this, but if you can't take it, don't dish it out.

I understand and no im not offended but I would consider them more of a dance team then cheerleading team and thank you for being respectful

In this era, they've become more spirit leaders and dancers...I suppose there might actually have been a time when they actually led cheers (My old geography teacher in 7th grade was a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, although she was always quick to point out 'It was when they had longer skirts and I had a better knee..'). As far as a dance routine, it seems MUCH more cardio heavy than other dances can be (more hip hop/kickline than lyrical..duh). Compared to your average armchair quarterback, yeah, it's a tough workout.
