Queensland Cheer Elite

Queensland Cheer Elite is a well established, well respected, vibrant and enthusiastic cheer club with members from 3 to 30 years. It currently operates from two locations: North Brisbane and South of Brisbane at Logan. Our structured program enables our members to improve coordination and develop strength and flexibility, while learning cheerleading and tumbling skills in a safe and supportive environment.​

We offer both cheerleading and dance classes as part of our program. Cheerleading combines skill and techniques from dance and gymnastics through fast paced positions, jumps, stunts and tumbling. In 2012 QCE will offer cheer classes from beginners to advanced for Tinies (3-5 yr), Minis (8 yr & under), Juniors (14 yr & under), Teens (11-18 yr) and Seniors (14yr & over). Open to both males and females, the cheer program will positively influence our athletes through offering the opportunity for increased fitness levels, better coordination, stronger team working skills and increased self-confidence and drive. Safety is an important consideration for each coach.​

The dance and pom program complements the cheer program. Students learn dance techniques and routines as part of our dance program. Weekly techniques classes focus on improving flexibility and developing core strength. We offer the styles of Jazz, hip hop and pom for various age groups.​

QCE has an impressive record of top places in local and national competitions including the 2011 AASCF QLD Dance Grand Champions (from 270 routines), highest scoring Level 2 Cheer routine (from 50 teams) and first place in all cheer divisions entered at three major competitions in 2011, including AASCF Nationals in November 2011.​
