We extremely discourage negative discussion of individual minors on here. Obviously if Suzie's tick tock is highlighted and falls that is one thing, but if an athlete participating in the routine happens to have a bad day or execute not the greatest you need to keep it objective. The admins get to be judge and jury on this (and we have some from all walks of life). Your threads may be locked, deleted, and you possible banned for a time period.

Know that it is OK to not like a routine. It is ok to not like music. It is ok not to like choreography or stunt. We all have opinions and we all discuss. But if you say something is not good be ready to back up that statement. The board is WAY busier this year and we will moderate however we need to to keep things civil.

Thank you.

So if the skill is "highlighted" and it falls its fair game? I'm confused. I understand and appreciate the censorship here but clearly don't understand the intent of that second sentence.

if one person has a 'highlight' in a routine it was put there to be noticed. if said highlight has issues it is hard to talk about the highlight not doing as it should without discussing the person. with that showcasing and concentration on particular part there will come added scrutiny. its hard to talk about susies highlighted tick tock if i can't mention the word susie. highlights open the door for more discussion.. there is only so much admins can do. BUT discussion about personal character are unnecessary when it comes in relation to the skill.

the good news is there are admins on here who (while they don't represent) tend to pull for Rays, CEA, WC, Top Gun, and a couple others I can't think of at 1:30am. We all have the ability to lock, delete, and ban people as needed so moderating tends to be very fair.

the terms 'susie' and 'tick tock' were chosen because of the video made last year. susie could also have had a last past, really good jumps, or possibly quadruple shimmy in the dance.

Oh, and as we are not omnipotent we do not know of all posts. feel free to @ tag us to review anything.

It is hard to not discuss Susie if it is Susie's highlight stunt, but I think there would be less issues if people just said "the flyer in the highlight stunt" or "the point jumper". Names don't have to be used to talk about something in a routine.

At the risk of sounding really weird and oogy, I wanna shimmy you right now, King!

As always, let's provide a few examples to help clarify and keep us speaking the same language:

Generic - Susie's stunt didn't hit
Critical, but opinionated- Susie's stunt looked terrible today. Wish she would have done better (ending on a positive note is my technique and a suggestion)
Critical with no purpose - I don't like the way Susie's stunt looks OR Susie's stunt sucked today OR I hated Susie's stunt
Critical with a suggestion - I don't like the way Susie's stunt looks. I think if she does a heal stretch after the janky-leg flop thingy it would look much better.
Character assassination - Susie's stunt looked terrible today. I heard from Sally's facebook that she just had a baby two weeks ago and after taking a hit of weed went to competition and tried to hit without warming up. She's a big fat poo-poo head (insert colerful language here)

I hope if you take these examples and look back at the Fierce Board rules you will see some are clearly better suited for stating your opinions than others. Hope this helps.

OMG...you heard that too??? I was told in absolute secrecy from Samie, who's friends with Susie's ex-friend Sally's brother's friend's cousin, twice removed.

IMO, when you are famous enough in this cheer world that people know you by name, then it's almost impossible to say "that flyer" in place of "susie". Let's be real. lol However, I agree with King that it is not okay to discuss "susie" beyond liking or not liking her stunt, or discussing what happened in the stunt. Attacking her as a person or her ability as an athlete is crossing the line.

Example -- my CP in on Sr. Obsession. No one even knows who she is so when she fell at Spirit Celebration, no one even mentioned it. However, I promise if Brittni Love's stunt had fallen, people would have been discussing it. It's just the nature of the beast.

There you all go talking about my Suzie again!! Yes Suzies tick tock stunt fell but it wasnt cause she took a hit of weed it was salvia and she didnt inhale and she didnt give birth 2 weeks ago it was 2 days ago and its not her fault cause she didnt know she was pregnant. AND as far as Sally's facebook goes its not really her facebook it someone pretending to be Sally because we all know everyone wants to be like Sally

You clearly get the idea. . . .now we will have to switch to using "Bobbi" examples.
