I have always been a flyer, but can also base with the rest of them (but never at comp).
I have been thinking more and more about what age I should consider retiring. I know I have much to learn and I could get better but with taking on a lot of coaching and feeling under pressure from the up and coming younger flyers, at what age is it appropriate to retire and take on a role as base or just a coach?
I know I cant do it forever, and I am very lucky to still be able to compete (im 24 this year). I know this is by no means old but in flyer years I feel ancient :-)
Would love to hear if others have made this transition, will I regret it immediately or will it relieve the pressure I feel at the moment?
