on a competition registration form i saw that they categorized a "senior" team as 18 and under and i just seen that on another website too! i thought a SENIOR team was 10-18?

someone plz clear this up

1) EPs do not have to follow USASF rules if they are not advertised to be a USASF competition. They can make up whatever rules they wish, including age ranges

2) Often rec divisions at competitions (even USASF-sanctioned events) have age ranges that differ from USASF age divisions. For instance, the team I coach is most often classified as a rec youth team, even though we have a kid who was 12 before the age cut off. Senior rec divisions are often listed as "18 and under." You might want to verify that you weren't looking at rec divisions.

3) It may have been a lazy oversight by whomever was writing the promotional materials. It has been known to happen.

Maybe they don't have a S5 squad?? Doesn't S5 start at 12 years old?
 
they catagory was all star, it was for a comp we were signing up for and ALL STAR SENIOR any level was ages 18 n under.... very weird to me.
