I found this PSA today. This is something I feel very strongly about, since I'm at a higher risk of melanoma due to family history. There are so many cheerleaders and young girls hopping in tanning beds with no thought of what it is doing to their skin. Skin cancer can kill, just like any other form of cancer.

thank you for sharing - that is a great video. most people don't think about the long term effects of what they do.
that's why i use tanning lotion. it's soo much safer.

I was hoping somebody might post this..The first time I watched it, I started bawling. Dear 16 year olds- I'm only 5 years older, but that lovely tan you're craving now doesn't do much good for you when 5 years out you already start looking leathery. Ick.
