How is the speed on the board right now?

I made some adjustments (that is why you have been seeing timeouts and no pages the past couple days). Moving around does the site seem faster? Except for the main page (the one with the featured items... I still have work to do there) do a shift refresh and see how well everything loads.

Thanks!

I'm on my phone but when I hit post on another thread it took a long time loading and then didn't even show up. Things are taking a while to pop up which may be the app or my phone.
ETA: Just got on the computer and my posts are indeed showing up. This one didn't show in the app either though. Speed seems normal? Everything is loading when I refresh this page

I haven't started working on the app. This would just be from a normal web browser.

Ha thought this was going to be about the honourable James Speed.

ETA I haven't noticed any difference in speed online.

I thought this was gonna be some sort of question and you would see who could answer fastest and someone would win a prize or something...guess I was wrong! My speeds great :p

Going between pages should be a consistent 2 seconds or less.

The sign of a good navigation speed is no one is complaining when I ask how things are going. Hah.

how about double and triple posts now occurring, any part that could be related to the speed update?

Not sure? Can you post a link to an example? Is this in the app?

Using my PC at the time. Typed in my comment and hit 'post reply' and received an error message. Sorry, do not recall what it said. The comments did not post and the comment box did not clear as if a successful post. Happened last night on a different threat and when I clicked 'post reply' a second time it posted, today on this thread http://forum.spiritcompany.com/threads/what-is-this-place.32341/page-6#post-795333 I clicked 'post reply 3 times and then refresh before the comment posted.

OK, so this is what you mean by double post?

As for the 502 that happens when PHP crashes. I have been running load testing (were up to 152 people per second that we can handle) but once I go over that everyone gets a 502. 152 a second is, roughly, 9120 people a minute hitting the database (not chat... chat can handle way more easily). When I get it up to around 800 people a second easily I think we will be future proofed for a while (that is basically 50,000 people all on at once and the board is still fast).
