We did this year. Most bases scored about the same honestly, and backstops scored in the same general range. It really mattered with flyers more than anything.
We formed groups and had flyers rotate between all of the groups for basic stunts. We switched people in and out as needed, so they were working with a variety of different people. It showed a lot more about their willingness to try and adapt than actual stunting ability for most bases/backs, but you got a sense of who could do what and look at technique. We then allowed them to show any stunt they wanted beyond the basics that we had already covered, and had all flyers show body positions.
I think we will mix things up a bit next year, but we will including stunting again for sure.
