So, my 8 year was watching repeats of my big sweet 16 on MTV. She then told me instead of a band I want SFA Cheer team to perform and I also want Gabi Butler and Maddie Gardner to stunt at my party. After, they can give lessons and all stunt with us. For the big present she wants a blue and gold Hummer. Those are her cheer team colors. I told her if I win the big lotto I will make it happen! LOL What would your dream sweet 16 look like?

I actually gave up my sweet sixteen party to continue to be on my team and pay for all the competitions leading up to worlds (worlds was paid for by the bid). And on my actual sixteenth birthday we had to re tryout for the "worlds" team. Scary and hectic birthday but I made it. And I'm glad I gave up my party. Cheering, and having those experiences were definetly better than one night of me being the princess. I'm definetly planning a crazy 21st though!!!!!

Funny you mentioned. Earlier this year I posted in the random thread because I had to choose between attending Worlds as a spectator or a sweet 16 birthday party. Some of the wonderful moms on here helped me decide to have a party because I went to Worlds last year, and you only turn 16 once you know? So far I'm inviting 50 people and it's going to be fantastic! I really hope I don't regret my decision because I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanna go back to Worlds. But I'd been dreaming of a sweet 16 since I was like born so I didn't want to pass up the opportunity. Maybe I'll get Worlds VOD for my birthday too haha! :)

Lolol my 16th birthday was at worlds....i turned 16 the day after finals!

My birthday was on finals day in 09!

Im giving up a senior year spring break trip to go to worlds :)

I didn't go to my senior prom because of worlds! Never will regret it !!

My mom is taking me to watch worlds this year for my sweet 16!!(: I'm so excited! My birthday wont be for another 2 months after worlds but i dont care because its the best present I could ever get.

I didn't go to my first homecoming this year because I didn't want to and cheer choreo the next day, people thought I was an idiot. If people knew that in two years I will choose Worlds (hoping I go to compete) over our prom, they will try to get me mental help...

I would rather have Kiara and Whitney tumbling at my sweet 16 birthday party. Much more exciting and they donot need anybody to help (bases) perform like flyers do.

I think all 4 of them are awesome and amazing! I have an incredible amount of respect and awe for all of their hard work and talent.

My daughter is an 8 year old flyer so she really appreciates Gabi and Maddie for their flexibility and flyer skills. Part of her admiration for Gabi Butler is that she is so young to be so talented. Plus she has that "it" factor. I feel all 4 of them are great role models. :)

Agree all are talented and all have the "IT" factor but im sure the "WOW" factor with everybody at my party would be with Kiara and Whitney throwing crazy tumbling passes. The average non cheer people and the cheer people at my party would be going crazy like most people do when they see somebody tumbling. Plus I wouldnt have to hire bases to base the flyers. Just my opinion :)

It would be fun to see Whitney's standing double full in person. :)
